About the event

In this 4 week group program, you will learn:

  • the old, ineffective ways we’ve learned to grieve.

  • how to recognize the impact of grief in children’s/teen’s lives, and how to be a more active listener.

  • how to identify sources of emotional energy children/teens experience around loss/grief events.

  • how to help your child/teen grieve in healthier ways


This HCWL program is an action-based program that involves reading and writing assignments as outlined in the book “When Children Grieve.”
